Jan 19, 2016 Hey guys, I've been trying the past couple days to play Doom 3: BFG Edition, but it simply won't start. Steam says I am in game for a second and then it stops. I read about having to tweak some configuration files to get it to work on Windows 10, but I couldn't find any of said config files, presumably because the game hasn't fully started on my system yet in order to create them. Aug 08, 2015 You want to right click on Doom 3 and choose Proporties and Local Files tab. Choose Browse Local Files. From there right click on the Doom 3 executable file and choose 'Troubleshoot Compatiblity'. Windows 10 will say that its compatible with Windows 7. This is correct, and the game will run now. Aug 11, 2018 has any one gotten Doom 3 BFG to work on windows 10 even thow like Doom 3 the BFG version of it duz not seem to support windows 10. Showing 1 - 15 of 16 comments MaDShadoW. Jun 06, 2009 since upgrading to windows 10 doom 3 bfg stopped working. Doing some digging i found a fix for the steam edition by putting in '+set rfullscreen -1 +set rwindowHeight '1080' +set rwindowWidth '1920' +set rwindowY '0' +set rwindowX '0' into steams launch options. This fixes the vanilla game great. But all my doom 3 bfg mods have their own executables and doesn't launch. Has anyone else had.
